Dr. Marc Anderson to Speak at the Advanced Capacitor World Summit About Using
Nanoparticles to Improve Capacitor Performance VALENCIA, Calif. – July 14, 2008 – Dr. Marc Anderson, a nanotech pioneer and co-inventor of the nanoparticle-based ultracapacitor technology licensed by Enable IPC Corp. (OTC BB: EIPC.OB), will
introduce attendees of the Advanced Capacitor World Summit in San Diego, Calif. to the company’s method of improving capacitor performance by depositing nanoparticles onto capacitor electrode materials. In his presentation, scheduled for 11:15 am, Tuesday, July 15, Dr. Anderson will focus on the effect the new technology has on the cycle life of capacitors and will provide an evaluation of select carbon electrodes with differing surface areas, pore sizes and distributions and conductives. As a pioneer of nanotechnology, Dr. Anderson holds more than 25 patients and has authored or contributed to more than 150 publications in the last 30 years. He currently serves as Professor and Chair of Environmental Chemistry and Technology Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Anderson received his PhD in Environmental Engineering from Johns
Hopkins University in 1974, and was named a Fulbright Fellow in 2002.Enable IPC’s ultracapacitor technology combines nanoparticles with common carbon sheets for a low cost,easy-to-implement process that improves the performance of ultracapacitors as clean energy storage devices. The enhanced ultracapacitors are simpler, cheaper and longer lasting than conventional devices, including some batteries, but perform just as well for many applications. The Advanced Capacitor World Summit 2008 runs from July 14-16 in San Diego, Calif. The Summit features two days of presentations by top-level industry experts, and has earned a reputation as the leading forum for
discussing the latest developments in the Electrochemical Capacitors industry.
