REDI's project and the funding proposal were reviewed during a public hearing Tuesday at the county's office building in Oneonta.

At Tuesday's hearing in the county office building in Oneonta, Chad Hall, REDI chief operations officer, said the ultracapacitors have limitless applications, including in telecommunications, wind-energy development and retrofitting energy devices.
